Updated 3 days ago

Having peace of mind while you're traveling is something you should strive for. Towbusters roadside assistance is there to help you 24/7, 365 days a year, and is provided by Nation Motor Company. They offer multiple plans with many options for coverage and possible benefits.

Do you really need roadside assistance?

Roadside assistance is something you'd rather have and not need than need and not have. Having roadside assistance can save your day if your car decides to break down while driving. While you may hope you never need to use it, knowing it's there can give you peace of mind. Imagine if you or your family gets stranded in a strange area at night. Roadside assistance can come and get you back underway. Here are some benefits that you can have with roadside assistance:

  • A safety net, so you aren't stranded on the side of the road
  • Savings or discount on services
  • Help with a mechanical issue
  • Peace of mind for other drivers, if the plan covers additional drivers

What does roadside assistance cover?

In general, roadside assistance covers most mechanical failures while on the road. This can include anything from helping you put your spare tire on or jumping off your battery. Some roadside assistance companies even bring gas to your car or pay for a locksmith. However, roadside services usually limit how many times you can call on them per year and price limits per event. While the benefits vary between providers, Towbuster provides some services as a part of their plan.

  • Towing to a location within your plan's mileage
  • Mechanical assistance
  • Delivery of gas or oil
  • Battery jumps
  • A flat tire change

How does Towbusters roadside assistance work?

Towbusters roadside assistance is offered through Nation Motor Club. There are no limits on service calls, but you're responsible for any cost past what they cover. If Nation Motor Club can't be reached, reimbursement is available for a maximum of $50 per call. They offer towing plans for different ranges between 5 and 35 miles. When requesting help, all you need is your member number and car description. Your membership can't be transferred to anyone. You can have beneficiaries of this agreement that can also use the service depending on which plan you sign up for. Like most roadside assistance services, Towbusters doesn't pay for parts or fluids that are delivered. Additionally, Towbusters offers a theft reward program. They pay $500 to anyone who gives information leading to a person's arrest and conviction for the theft of your covered vehicle or tagged valuable articles.
